The @DisneyCruise Disney Treasure ship has reached yet another milestone in construction – the completion of its last block. Cruise ships are built in blocks (sections). With the last block in place, this means that the ship is now structurally complete and outfitting work can begin.

Exterior Painting Begins for Disney Vacation Club Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

The next milestone for the Disney Vacation Club construction at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has begun. The first bits of paint have been applied to the exterior of the pre-fab concrete structure.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment has submitted a report to the Prime Minister for a US$2.18 billion tourist complex, featuring a casino, in northern Quang Ninh Province.

The People's Committee of Quang Ninh has proposed to build the complex, a premium tourist destination with hotels and resorts, on a 245-hectare site in Van Yen village, Van Don district.

The project, with an initial capital of VND51.55 trillion ($2.18 billion), is anticipated to complete by the third quarter of 2032, spanning less than nine years of construction. Once approved, it will operate for a duration of 70 years.

The Minister of Tourism of the Dominican Republic, David Collado, and Cisneros Real Estate (Cisneros) announced plans for the development of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Dominican Republic in Tropicalia, a sustainable luxury destination located on a 24-hectare site along the pristine beach of Playa Esmeralda in the northeast of the Dominican Republic.

With construction underway, the project is scheduled to open in early 2026.

The property will include a 95-room resort and 25 private residences of three- and four-bedroom units, all located steps from the beach.

Welcome to Hotel Riu Palace Aquarelle!This Hotel is the newest member of the Riu Hotels in Jamaica, with two (2) properties being in Negril, Hanover section namely: Hotel Riu Negril & Hotel Riu Palace Tropical Bay. Three (3) properties in Montego Bay, St. James namely: Hotel Riu Montego Bay, Hotel Riu Palace Jamaica & Hotel Riu Reggae and one (1) property in Ocho Rios, St. Ann known as: Hotel Riu Ocho Rios. This property in Trelawny now completes four (4) out of six (6) of the northern parishes on the Island.The Hotel is on schedule to be opened in the summer of 2024, date to be announced. We caught wind of this development in earlier months but was unable to visit prior. It is still under construction and we aim to make another visit in the near future.
