Could we be seeing another Hard Rock guitar being started this year?

The government of Catalonia is moving forward with plans to build “Barcelona World”, a multi-billion-dollar resort complex backed by US leisure group Hard Rock International, website Casino.org reports.

Last week, the Generalitat of Catalonia passed a budget that includes provisions for the project to start construction during the first half of 2023, assuming the project’s masterplan is approved.

A new island developement has been announced for Abu Dhabi.

Mohamed Alabbar is to launch a spectacular new $3.5 billion island project off the coast of Abu Dhabi, Arabian Business can reveal.
The project, known as Ramhan Island, will feature 1,800 beach villas, 1,000 branded residences, a hotel and marina. The Emaar founder and Americana chairman is developing it through his privately owned Eagle Hills development company.

The first Four Seasons planned for Taiwan

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has announced plans to debut in Taiwan, partnering with developer Yuan Lih Construction Co. to open a hotel in Taipei.
Four Seasons Hotel Taipei will be located in a 31-storey tower in the city’s Xinyi District, directly opposite the Taipei 101 skyscraper. The property is currently under construction and anticipated to be complete “in a few years’ time”.

Former Theme Park Pleasure Island in Cleethorpes, UK is under proposal for redevelopement in a resort with holiday lodges, hotels and other facilities.

The plans include 272 holiday lodges, a 148-bedroom hotel with conference centre and casino, and a 74-bedroom hotel with bar and restaurant.
Also proposed are a new Lidl discount foodstore, two food and drink units, leisure and retail units, a drive-thru coffee unit, fishing lake, parking and cycle hire facilities. The leisure unit is expected to be operated by an arcade game business.
