Club Med Tinley

Construction of the beachfront resort of Tinley Manor is set to begin in 2024, with the opening scheduled for around July 2026.

The beach resort will be built in Tinley Manor, north of Durban on the Dolphin Coast, renowned for its bottlenose dolphins. It will have direct access to a long and secluded stretch of pristine beach.

The resort promises a wealth of activities, including dedicated zones for kids and teens. From watersports like windsurfing and kayaking to land-based activities like archery and well-being centers for relaxation. The Resort Centre will also have shopping; a restaurant; an all-day dining court; a bar with a wine corner; and a pool.

For those wanting a more bespoke experience, Club Med is also working on creating a luxury lodge at a Big 5 game reserve, about a 3.5-hour drive or 40-minute flight from the resort. The 80-room lodge will be developed to Club Med standards in order to offer guests a dual beach and safari experience during their stay.

North Star Entertainment recently revealed its strategy and intentions for the €250m Project VORIA which involves the move of the Regency Casino Mont Parnes, Greece, to a new hospitality and entertainment complex in Marousi.

Project VORIA will involve 836 underground parking spaces, a variety of dining and entertainment options and a fresh five-star hotel equipped with 150 rooms, which will be accompanied by meeting space that can accommodate a maximum of 1,400 delegates. However, retail shops won’t be included.

Renderings for Wynn New York City, a proposed $12 billion mixed-used development on Manhattan’s West Side featuring a casino resort, have been released.

An 80-story tower overlooking the Hudson River would house the casino, hotel, and resort amenities. The resort structure would be surrounded by additional buildings with office space and residencies. Wynn and Related are also proposing a 750-seat public school, a daycare, and a community center to demonstrate the project’s commitment to the community.

New York’s Resorts World Plans $5 Billion Expansion in Casino Bid

Resorts World also proposed a 7,000-seat entertainment venue and 350,000 square feet of meeting, conference and entertainment space that it said will be the second-largest of its size in the city.

The plan involves adding some 2 million square feet of entertainment, gaming, retail, dining and convention space on top of its existing 1 million-square-foot facility. It proposes a 350,000-square-foot casino floor that it said will be one of the largest in the world. The project would also add 1,600 new hotel rooms on top of the 400 already available at the Hyatt Regency JFK Airport.
