This is a construction update for the Las Vegas A’s Ballpark from April 10, 2026.

This is the Tropicana Las Vegas Temporary Casino on the site of the new Las Vegas Athletics Ballpark on Thursday, April 02, 2026.

To keep this gaming license active, the owner has to have a casino on site at least once every two years.

Las Vegas A’s Ballpark:

Bally’s Corp. is “taking the next step toward getting work started on the first phase of its mixed-use project that will surround” the A’s Las Vegas ballpark, according to Mick Akers of the LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL. The $1.19B multiphase project includes “retail, entertainment and dining facilities, a hotel and casino, a theater, a parking garage and a utility plant to be shared with the A’s ballpark.”

A’s Vice Chair Sandy Dean earlier this month said that Phase 1 is “expected to take about a year to complete.” Dean said that Bally’s would “need to start construction on the phase by early 2027 to have those project elements completed in time for the opening of the A’s ballpark in early 2028.”
