The owner of Tigre de Cristal will build a golf club with villas and a swimming pool in Primorye.

Oriental Regent Limited will build a golf club in the Primorye gambling zone in Primorsky Krai. The investor has signed a corresponding agreement with the Primorsky Krai Development Corporation, according to the regional government's press service.

"According to a concept developed in Hong Kong, an 18-hole golf course, an indoor practice facility with a golf simulator, and a clubhouse will be built over an area of ​​over 800,000 square meters. Investment in the golf project will exceed 5 billion rubles," the Primorsky Krai government press service reported.

They added that the investor took on the development of promising areas in the Primorye resort area and their inclusion in the overall development concept of the Tigre de Cristal investment project.

Van Don Casino Resort was announced in December 2025 with a price tag of US$2 billion. Here are some renderings I found online. They seem outdated, and the design has likely been revised, but this gives an idea of the concept associated with the project.

Hard Rock International Unveils Plans for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino San Juan

Governor of Puerto Rico, Jenniffer González-Colón, said: “The launch in San Juan of the first hotel, casino, and residential complex by the prestigious firm Hard Rock International, with construction set to begin mid-year, opens a world of possibilities for economic development. This significant $850 million investment, in addition to generating jobs and becoming another attraction for the island, helps continue positioning Puerto Rico as an ideal destination in the Caribbean — a destination for tourism, living, and global investment.”

Offering views of both San Juan Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino San Juan will feature approximately 415 rooms, 58 suites, and 186 Branded Residences. The property will amplify the island’s music culture by introducing event venues, a recording studio, and local memorabilia. It will be the first integrated casino in Puerto Rico for a complete travel-entertainment experience.

I took some screenshots from Google Earth. Either the Hard Rock project didn’t move forward, or it may have been announced as part of Unico. The building on the left looks like it could be it. The back side appears quite large, which could potentially be the gaming hall. In the second screenshot, the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is marked to the east of Unico, although there is no sign of construction activity.

Sun Group breaks ground on Vietnam’s Van Don casino resort

The project is being promoted as a large-scale investment, with a total price tag of “up to US$2 billion”, Sun Group said in a press release.

The complex is being developed across a site exceeding 244 hectares (603 acres), the company added.

Sun Group stated: “The project is planned under a modern ‘resort city’ model, aiming to create a regional-scale entertainment and tourism destination meeting international standards, integrating a wide range of tourism, accommodation, commercial, and entertainment functions, and operating on a 24/7 basis.”

Sun Group said in August that it had been selected by the country’s authorities as the investor for a US$2-billion resort scheme at Van Don, on the northern coast of Vietnam, which would be permitted to include a “high-class casino”.

Sun Group stated in the release that a “key highlight” of the project (pictured in an artist’s rendering) is the “pilot casino gaming and entertainment area allowing Vietnamese citizens to participate in accordance with government policy”.

The firm added that the casino would enhance Van Don’s tourist attractiveness and help to “establish a model capable of competing with major global entertainment destinations” such as Macau, Singapore and Las Vegas, in the US state of Nevada.

According to the press release, the casino component is scheduled to be inaugurated in 2028, with full project completion targeted for the fourth quarter of 2034.
