Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge opens July 1, 2027, at Walt Disney World Resort, and we’re celebrating the news with an exclusive first look inside the guest rooms before reservations open in early October.

With 967 thoughtfully designed rooms, Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will offer a variety of ways to stay, from intimate duo studios and spacious villas to one-of-a-kind waterfront Lake Houses. Each room type will capture the beauty of nature as seen through the eyes of Disney artists and storytellers, with natural materials, earthy color palettes, and original artwork from classic Disney films set in the great outdoors.

There’s more magic happening along the shores of Bay Lake as Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge continues to take shape. Walt Disney Imagineers are hard at work designing new spaces where families and friends can gather, reconnect, and experience sunrise coffee, leisurely afternoons, and unforgettable nighttime views.

When Disney Lakeshore Lodge opens at Walt Disney World, guests will be invited to relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature at The Wetlands, a sweeping outdoor recreation area just beyond the lobby that’s surrounded by the beauty of Bay Lake.

The Wetlands will be thoughtfully designed with both fun and relaxation in mind. Younger guests will become part of nature’s story through whimsical wet and dry play areas inspired by the music and storytelling of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Pocahontas. Drawing from the lyrics “the heron and the otter are my friends” from the beloved song “Colors of the Wind,” these vibrant spaces will celebrate the playful connections found in nature.
