UK studio Zaha Hadid Architects has revealed designs for the Centre of Mediterranean Culture, which is currently under construction on its coastal site in Reggio Calabria, Italy.

Informed by its marine setting, the centre is set to comprise a sinuous, round-edged volume that draws on the "radial symmetry of starfish", and will be finished with reflective aluminium panels and rounded roof openings.

Once complete, the 24,000-metre-square centre will serve as a cultural space hosting events, exhibitions and forums for the local community.

Nickelodeon Land and Hotel will open on March 1st at The Land of Legends Theme Park in Antalya, Turkey. The new land will feature 16+ attractions, including a SpongeBob dark ride similar to the one at Circus Circus in Las Vegas.

Construction on world's tallest skyscraper "officially restarts" in Jeddah

The developer behind Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia has announced that the long-stalled project, designed by Chicago studio Adrian Smith + Gill Gordon Architecture, will complete in 2028.

Developer Kingdom Holding Company announced that the project, which will be the world's tallest building when completed, had restarted at a ceremony last week.

"Construction of the Jeddah Tower, a global symbol of ambition and progress, has officially restarted," said Kingdom Holding Company.

A project to add new hotel rooms, a restaurant, and a rooftop bar adjacent to the Coeur d’Alene Resort in Idaho is set to move forward. The new building – dubbed the “Sherman Tower” will include a three-level parking structure, as well as a rooftop bar, which will be open seasonally.
