Unstable weather conditions in the UAE have forced some pavilions to close due to damage from the heavy rains.
Also want to add that in the past couple of weeks especially during the holidays, some pavilions have been forced to shut due to COVID outbreaks amongst the staff.Organisers at Expo 2020 Dubai are working round the clock to ensure pavilions stay open despite the heavy rain in recent days.
Several were forced to temporarily close as staff worked to repair damage caused by the downpours.
I personally haven't been there in a while, waiting for the weather to be better and the cases to mellow down a little bit.Dubai's Expo 2020 said that virus outbreaks among staff may force some parts of the fair to "close temporarily for deep cleaning and sanitization," without elaborating on the scope or the location of the infections.
