Former Theme Park Pleasure Island in Cleethorpes, UK is under proposal for redevelopement in a resort with holiday lodges, hotels and other facilities.

The plans include 272 holiday lodges, a 148-bedroom hotel with conference centre and casino, and a 74-bedroom hotel with bar and restaurant.
Also proposed are a new Lidl discount foodstore, two food and drink units, leisure and retail units, a drive-thru coffee unit, fishing lake, parking and cycle hire facilities. The leisure unit is expected to be operated by an arcade game business.

Plans for the new Lake Nona Disney campus have been released.

Construction of the Disney’s Lake Nona campus will be phased. Upon completion, it will consist of six office buildings, two flex buildings, three parking garages, a central plant, and a surface parking lot for visitors. While the zoning allows for a maximum height of 10 stories, the initial plan calls for buildings to range in height from four to seven stories. Each of the parking garages will have six levels.

The bulk of the built environment, 1.46 million square feet, is defined as general offices, while the remaining 346,000 square feet will be flex office/industrial. The offices featured 60,000 square feet of solar panels plus 2 acres of green roofs to meet the commitment to be carbon net-zero.

The former home of the New York Islanders, where the professional hockey team won four straight Stanley Cup championships in the 1980s, may soon be transformed into the new U.S. flagship resort for Las Vegas Sands Corp.

Las Vegas Sands will gain control of up to 80 acres in Nassau County after final approvals are reached, where the company said it would build “a multi-billion-dollar flagship hospitality, entertainment and casino project.”

Oman-based developer Muriya has unveiled a new waterfront residential resort project. Located within its flagship destination, Hawana Salalah, Amazi will be developed over an area of one million sqm and will feature luxury villas and residences that offer an “exquisite waterfront living proposition”.

Seif El Khouly, Chief Development Officer, at Muriya said the developer’s main focus is to develop low density properties and openness for all units, allowing the best experience possible, while keeping an eye out for complete privacy and connectivity.
