    Nakheel, the developer behind The Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, has launched the first waterfront villa project on the Palm Jebel Ali, amid strong demand for luxury homes in the emirate. The project, which will be centred on four fronds of the island, will offer two types of villas – coral villas and beach villas – each of will be available for sale in eight styles, the company said on Monday.

    Construction Of 801 Luxury Villas Will Begin In Palm Jebel Ali Next September


    Al-Bayan learned that the first phases of work on residential projects within the new plan for the Palm Jebel Ali development project will start next September, to be followed by a new phase by December, and within the two phases, 801 luxury villas will be constructed distributed on 8 palm fronds, and the value of contracts Construction for the two phases is 9.3 billion dirhams.
    It is expected that in September, the construction of 465 villas distributed on 4 palm fronds will begin, including 176 villas consisting of 5 rooms, 169 villas consisting of 6 rooms, and 120 villas consisting of 7 rooms, and 88 villas are located on the P frond, in addition to 106 villas on the frond. O, and 128 villas in Al Frond N, and 143 villas in Al Frond M, and it is expected that these villas will be completed during the second half of 2027.

    In December, construction work will start for 336 villas spread over 4 palm fronds, including 116 villas consisting of 5 rooms, 100 villas with 6 rooms, and 120 villas with 7 rooms. A villa in the ring finger J, in addition to 20 villas in the ring finger I.

    His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, recently announced the launch of Palm Jebel Ali, which will be twice the size of Palm Jumeirah with beaches stretched up to 110km, housing over 80 hotels and a wide stretch of prime waterfront development.



    Palm Jumeirah has positioned the emirate’s real estate among the world’s ultra-luxury projects and is home to A-class Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities. It is already home to some iconic projects such as Atlantis The Palm, Anantara, Atlantis The Royal, Five Hotel, Zabeel Saray, Raffles and many others.

    Global real estate consultancy Savills said over the last few years, there has been a significant increase in inquiries for waterfront properties in Dubai.

    Dubai has announced a masterplan for Palm Jebel Ali, which will see 80 new hotels in a development twice the size of Palm Jumeirah.

    The development was announced by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai who said it would include 110km of beaches.

    Palm Jebel Ali would be part of the emirate’s ambition to be “the most beautiful city in the world” said Sheikh Mohammed.
    In a tweet, Sheikh Mohammed said: “Dubai is growing and thriving. Today, we announce today the new plan for Palm Jebel Ali. Its area is twice that of Palm Jumeirah and its beaches reach 110km.

    “Its marine and green pastures will provide housing with the highest quality of life and its visitors and tourists will enjoy more than 80 hotels and resorts that provide beautiful tourist experiences for them and their families.

    “We announced our goal to double Dubai’s economy by 2033 and every day we add a new brick in building the most beautiful city in the world”.
    Palm Jebel Ali will raise the global benchmark in waterfront living and offer a breadth of luxury lifestyle amenities for residents, families and visitors, supporting the objective of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 to consolidate Dubai’s status as one of the world’s top cities for business and tourism.

    The project also marks the beginning of a new growth corridor in the Jebel Ali area, underlining the expansion of the emirate.

    Spanning an area of 13.4 square kilometres and occupying an area twice the size of Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali will feature extensive green spaces and unique waterfront experiences.

    The project will add approximately 110 kilometres of coastline to Dubai that will provide approximately 35,000 families with unrivalled luxury beachside living.

    Palm Jebel Ali will feature more than 80 hotels and resorts, and a wide choice of entertainment and leisure facilities that will contribute to Dubai’s tourism sector, while distinguishing the archipelago as an aspirational residential destination in the city.

    Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Managing Director of the Investment Corporation of Dubai and Chairman of Nakheel said, “We are honoured to embark on a pathbreaking journey with the new masterplan of Palm Jebel Ali, which is unprecedented in magnitude and scale.
