It looks like the All Net resort got the funding it required to keep its dreams alive and it's now due to begin construction this summer. I won't hold my breath but at least it's not completely dead yet!

As unlikely as it seems, it appears that the off-and-on All Net Resort and Arena project first proposed for the north end of the Las Vegas Strip in 2013 is on again.

A Texas-based venture- capital company is reportedly investing $4.2 billion to build the arena, two hotels, a convention center, movie theater and a casino on the site where excavation work took place in 2017 — then stopped. All Net’s founder, former NBA player Jackie Robinson, says he expects construction on the resort to resume this summer.

The somewhat infamous, Terrible's Casino, that sits just outside of Las Vegas on the route to LA is being demolished. It will be replaced by a massive industrial and distribution complex which will help keep truck traffic outside the city in the future as the city expands.

A Reno developer has taken ownership of a big property south of Las Vegas with plans to demolish a closed hotel-casino and build a sprawling industrial park.Tolles Development Co. purchased roughly 142.3 acres of real estate off Interstate 15 in Jean for $44.7 million. The sale by the Herbst family, operators of the Terrible Herbst gas station chain, closed Feb. 24, property records show.
The site of the shuttered Terrible’s hotel-casino would comprise the last phase of the complex, said Hunt, who indicated Tolles hasn’t determined how it would bring the structure down. Still, he noted the developers would love for a motion-picture crew to come “help us celebrate blowing it up.”

The proposed All Net Resort and Arena has been given the deadline of breaking ground this summer or it's going to have its planning revoked and won't be able to build.

Ths site is located behind the Fountaineblue site where Wet 'n Wild used to be, there was some work begun on the ground but nothing ever broke ground fully.

All Net Resort & Arena is a planned entertainment complex in Las Vegas. A project of businessman and former basketball player Jackie Robinson, the complex will encompass a resort hotel, retail and restaurant space, and a multi-purpose arena with a retractable roof. Its location is set on the Las Vegas Strip at the former site of a Wet 'n Wild waterpark, next to the Sahara Las Vegas in Winchester, Nevada.

Robinson announced the project in December 2013. Designed by the Cuningham Group, it was initially planned to open in December 2016, at a cost of $1.3 billion. However, the project cost has increased several times, and the start of construction has been delayed repeatedly because of difficulty acquiring construction funds. A groundbreaking ceremony was held in October 2014, but preparation work on the site did not begin until early 2017, and construction has yet to commence. Work on the $4 billion project is expected to begin in mid-2022.

Las Vegas Sands has closed the $6.25 billion sale of The Venetian Resort and adjacent convention center on the Strip. Funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management completed the acquisition of the casino resort, a spokesperson said Wednesday February 23rd.
VICI Properties was set to purchase the real estate for $4 billion, while Apollo would acquire the operations of the Venetian for $2.25 billion. The convention space will now be known as The Venetian Expo.
Las Vegas Sands has said the sale would help position the company for growth in Macao and Singapore. "The opening of The Venetian more than 20 years ago represents the beginning of the company's success," CEO and Chairman Robert Goldstein said in a statement. "The property, and most importantly, the people who represent it every day will always remain indelible parts of our history."

Sands' headquarters will remain in Las Vegas, and the company says it will still be active in the community.

Bally's is being refurbished and rebranded as "Horseshoe Casino".

Caesars Entertainment Inc. plans to transform Bally’s Las Vegas into a Horseshoe casino through a multimillion-dollar renovation project starting this spring. The rebranding will allow the World Series of Poker to reunite with the Horseshoe brand – its original home – after more than a dozen years at the Rio.

Renovations on the 2,810-room property will begin this spring with the poker room, before branching out to the exterior, casino floor and other public areas. Hotel rooms will not be included in the renovation project and will remain open for booking.

The Aria, Las Vegas just debuted invite-only suites.

Aria boasts some of the city's most exciting culinary outlets – including Xiao Long Bao from Michelin-starred Taiwanese soup dumpling house Din Tai Fung and the ever-Instagrammable, spicy rigatoni-slinging Carbone. Let us not forget their 80,000-square-foot, desert-inspired spa, pool oasis, and gaming offerings; this is Vegas after all. But while the building's modern design still feels fresh over a decade in, Las Vegas is an extremely competitive market for the highest-end customers. Given that, Aria is just wrapping up a multiyear renovation of their VIP hotel within a hotel concept: Sky Suites.

These 442 penthouses have long been regarded as some of Las Vegas' most-coveted accommodations, but now they are even more in demand. The one- and two-bedroom Sky Suites range from 1,050 to 2,060 square feet in size and have been re-imagined by Rottet Studio

Sky Villas' guests arrive in Rolls-Royce Phantoms and are met by Champagne-baring butlers who whisk them directly up to their accommodations. Naturally, the dining tables are adorned with welcome fruits, charcuterie boards, and preferred libations – be it a bottle of Opus One, Chateau Lafite, or Macallen 25. Continue and you will find a fully stocked bar, bathrooms with your choice of Hermès, Bulgari, or Creed products, and Dyson hair dryers. Feeling peckish? Just call your butler who will personally walk you to a prime table at any restaurant on-site. Naturally, there are also in-villa kitchens should you prefer a celebrity chef swing by to prepare a memorable meal. And while we can't possibly begin to describe the entirety of their offerings, we would be remiss to leave out their cigar cart. Here, a catador (cigar sommelier) will bring up a selection of impossible-to-find offerings, as well as custom cheroots crafted by a master torcedor exclusively for Aria.

Ready to book? Sky Suites start at $1,100 mid-week and $2,000 on weekends and Sky Villas are normally bookable by invitation.
