Las Vegas casino chain Station Casinos has purchased nearly 67 acres at the northwest corner of Losee Road and the 215 Beltway in North Las Vegas for $55 million.
The sale was recorded with the county on Monday. The locals-focused casino operator’s plans for the site call for 600 hotel rooms and more than 75,700 square feet of casino space, as well as restaurants, a movie theater, a bowling alley, banquet facilities and other amenities.
The Losee project would be developed in phases. The first would include 200 hotel rooms, restaurants, three resort-style pools, a 48,000-square-foot casino floor, and a tavern on the corner of the property, Station representative Rebecca Miltenberger told the North Las Vegas City Council at a Nov. 16 hearing.

The new hotel tower at Henderson’s M Resort will break ground by the end of 2023, and it’s expected to be completed in 2025, executives with Penn Entertainment Inc. reported Thursday. The 384-room expansion will nearly double the capacity at the property to 774 rooms and suites. The $206 million project is part of a four-property $850 million expansion in Illinois, Ohio and Nevada.
The M opened as the Las Vegas Valley’s southernmost property in March 2009. It was acquired by Penn in 2011. Penn recently sold its other Las Vegas property, the Tropicana Las Vegas, to Bally’s Corp.

The price tag for the MSG Sphere at The Venetian climbed another $175 million to $2.18 billion, executives with Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp.
The cost of the 17,500-seat entertainment venue being built east of The Venetian Expo — due to open in the second half of 2023 — has gone up because of the ongoing impact of inflation, global supply chain pressures and the overall complexity of the project, MSGE officials said during the company’s fiscal first-quarter earnings call.
