Hello everyone! Wasn't the best day to take great and clear pictures here in Dubai, but still I wanted to give you an insight of how the mega project Marsa Al Arab looks like from Palm Jumeirah at the moment. Incorporating two islands on each side of Burj Al Arab, Marsa Al Arab is set to become a world-class tourist destination and a new recourse for Dubai's economic growth, which definitely needs a boost after the pandemic.

I think there will still be a lot of construction taking place in October but I assume most of the noise will be during the day and not in the early morning or late at night so the noise shouldn't be awful.

  4. The design for Marsa Al Arab is inspired by the subtle*nautical references derived from the grandeur of*modern super-luxurious motor yachts. The form reflects*the notion of standing on the top deck of a yacht.
The ‘shift’ in the length of the hotel responds to the*reclaimed peninsular between the private extended*beach and the new marina, creating an opportunity*for generous drop-offs, in addition to a large 4-storey*vertical opening in the building that frames the clear and*uninterrupted views of the surrounding. The shift splits*the building into the landward F&B and spa zones, and*the seaward hotel guest-rooms, ensuring the privacy and*exclusiveness for the most discerning guests.
At grade level, off the neighbouring roads, the hotel*incorporates BOH services, undercover car parking,*a marina, a private beach and luscious landscapes.*In the upper ground level, the hotel includes the*formal arrival experience, which leads to the drop-off*for the hotel lobby and F&B outlets. The hotel*features 13 levels of 408 sea-facing guest-rooms with*wide balconies designed to provide the guests with a*harmonious feeling of the interior spaces extending*towards the exterior. The upper crown floors include*four exclusive penthouses, each with an area of 650*m2. The combinations of simplex, duplex and triplex*apartments include private pools on their vast balcony*decks, providing the residents with ultimate privacy and*uninterrupted views of Burj Al Arab, the Arabian Gulf,*and Dubai’s new picturesque marina.

Inspired by the nautical lifestyle of relaxation, the crisp white lines and timber decks portrayed in superyachts, and crisp architectural tectonics, the main materials used in the villa are a combination of opulent natural material, providing a luxurious clean-cut aesthetic for the modern resident. There are three available facade options for the villas, with slight variations in the treatment of the vertical elements, facade openings, and roofing material.
With a balance of intimacy and openness, each villa includes a ground floor and three upper floors. The various forms of the volumes are the result of adapting to the design vision and the site conditions, maximizing privacy for every family but still creating spaces where the interior spaces visually integrate with the sea, consequently creating a series of excavations that become patios, terraces, and balconies.
