Nothing we haven't seen before but interesting to see the PR now being released about this worldwide.

I do think it's telling that the reporter is actually on the islands however a lot of the stock photos and footage are really old and do not give a recent indication of the construction progress. There are some glimpses of construction ongoing however a lot of the "progress updates" they show are pretty out of date now as far as I can tell.

A look inside Monaco (and the huge pool, Grand Azur) and also inside the Swedish Islands houses.

Google Maps was updated back in March and I know a lot of work has gone on since then as we can see in the recent street level images but I thought these were interesting because:
1. They show actually how close the islands are to each other, even in the "private" Swedish homes they are extremely close to the opposite Island.
2. The lack of the floating seahorse villas, I was surprised there are so few in the water already - I don't know if they are expecting more but I feel like these were really sold in the marketing and there are really not many of them!
3. How much of a building site the rest of the Islands are behind the hotels that are coming to completion. There is still a lot of industrial looking gear around the site.

Apartments are now being listed for sale with new images of the resort. I think this is the first time we have seen inside The Azur Hotel?

Grand Azur is eight times larger than an Olympic swimming pool and will be the lifestyle hub linking a quartet of boutique hotels at the centre of the glamourous Côte d’Azur resort. Measuring 12,000 square metres, it will be the largest and the most sustainable pool in the Middle East and be part of Côte d’Azur Resort at the Heart of Europe leisure tourism destination

With a perimeter of more than 1km and containing a staggering 14,000 cubic meters of sustainably-desalinated water, the mega-pool is one of many Heart of Europe regional and international firsts. Grand Azur is clever as well as big, however, utilising solar energy to illuminate, recycle, heat and cool the eco-friendly water that will relax and thrill guests.

Monaco will set the tone when it welcomes guests during a ‘soft’ opening in June 2021 (subject to government Covid-19 restrictions). All four uniquely-located, upscale Côte d’Azur hotels are scheduled for an official public launch in October, in time for EXPO guests, adding 893 keys to the Dubai hospitality portfolio.
