Why not turn Trojena into a major tourist attraction and sport venue?

It could be a great resort for future competitions - even sailing, racing, swimming in the artificial lake? Not just skiing but not to exclude skiing.

And hotels

I agree. Trojena could end up being a huge success if they were willing to complete it. It could be a marketing story - health resort/ ski resort in the mountains? Race boating/ swimming/ exercise/ mountain climbing? Beautiful mountain setting. All it needs is water and some trees.

Really hope they'll restart Trojena. I find this project both reasonable and achievable, while still being fascinating, unlike The Line, which is hard to imagine, let alone achieve.

NEOM VAULT is a man-made canyon that acts as a gateway to the rest of the NEOM Trojena region. Access to The VAULT is via the 4.4 km (TTT) “Time Travel Tunnel” from the Mirage Visitor Center.

The Mirage Freight Depot, which includes the required MEICA, will be the only highway structure connected to the Time Travel Tunnel. All logistics requirements of the rail system up to “The VAULT” will need to be facilitated through the carrying capacity of the funicular system.
Vault excavation also includes rockfall barrier works, extra excavations and blasting excavation works, along with anchoring works for the D17 tunnel, D17 Link Tunnel and B1 tunnel support construction systems.

Finishing Trojena makes sense. If Saudi wants to attract investment and tourism.

Maybe they'll restart construction work?
