Jubail Mangrove Park opened to the public on January 30, 2020, and has since become a favourite spot for nature-loving residents of the capital.

What to expect: The main attraction at Jubail Mangrove Park is its boardwalk, which consists of three different routes. The longest one stretches two kilometres, the mid-range one is 1.6km and the shortest is 1km. A ranger said, depending on the pace, the longest route can take anywhere between 35 to 90 minutes.

Etihad Airways and Marriott International Join Hands to Plant 12,000 Mangrove Trees In Jubail Island

Spread across more than 150 square kilometers of the UAE’s coastline, the Etihad Marriott Mangrove Forest will make up part of the only evergreen forest in the GCC region providing a natural habitat for marine and terrestrial species.

During the first phase of the two-month project, which took place on January 27, 2023, teams from Etihad and Marriott International planted the first set of Jubail Island mangrove trees.

Lead Development has announced the launch of The Souk – Jubail Island’s modern and vibrant destination, which is the main link connecting the six villages across the island, providing residents with a central hub that combines wellbeing, connectivity, leisure, retail and commercial services.

The Souk’s prime location provides increased connectivity to other destinations on the island, such as Jubail Mangrove Park, Jubail Beach Club, and the Marina.

Similarly, The Souk provides residents with the opportunity to own a property overlooking sea views. The project offers options for potential buyers with a wide range of luxury housing units distributed over low-rise buildings consisting of three or four floors known as Jubail Terraces.

Jubail Island Investment Company (JIIC) has held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction for the new townhouses which will be part of the premium residential community at Souk Al Jubail on Jubail Island.
Set to be completed by March 2024, the project will see 150 unique elegant and spacious townhouses, ranging from two, three and four-bedroom units, being built to the highest quality and standards that will redefine the living experience for tenants and new homeowners.

China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East (CSCEC), which won the AED 220 million construction contract from JIIC, will be responsible for overseeing the development of the townhouses.

CSCEC, one the largest construction groups in the region, will undertake a range of infrastructure works, including sub-structure, superstructure, MEP works, finishing, facades and landscaping.

Jubail Island launches new premium residential district - Ain Al Maha Village.
A total of 240waterfront villas will be built in Jubail Island’s latest waterfront residential community complex, with an Estuary Park and water channel among the prominent landmark features

The project is scheduled to be completed in Q1 2025 and will also include a world-class school, 1 mosque, and shopping and dining facilities within two community centres.

Following Jubail Island’s unprecedented demand, with 90% of the current inventory sold-out, the launch of Ain Al Maha is testament to the strong real estate market in the capital.
