Westside Resort will deploy the X-Trend display system from IDX across 250 gaming tables when it opens later this year in Manila’s Entertainment City, according to a company announcement. The system will be installed across the casino floor as part of the property’s initial launch configuration.
According to the release, the X-Trend system was selected following a review process that included trials and evaluation of multiple display products. The system provides centralized network management, allowing operators to control and update table displays across the gaming floor, and is designed to integrate with the smart table technology planned for the resort.
IDX said its software platform enables integration with next-generation table technologies, allowing for real-time data flow between systems.
Westside Resort is a $1.25 billion development located in Parañaque. The property is expected to include more than 2,500 hotel rooms across three brands, over 2,000 gaming machines, more than 250 table games, as well as dining, retail, and entertainment facilities, including a theater district anchored by the Grand Opera House.

The name was changed from Westside City Resorts World to Westside Resort, and it currently appears set to open this autumn.

The new operating entity of the LET X integrated resort development in Manila’s Entertainment City precinct has announced that the project has been renamed to Westside Resort.
The new name follows a change of control late last year through which Newport World Resorts operator Travellers International Hotel Group and its parent company Alliance Global Group assumed a majority stake in the US$1.25 billion project from Suntrust Resort Developers Inc, which counts Hong Kong’s LET Group as a 51% shareholder.
Noting in a Friday social media post that management is now under ECRC, the group revealed the new Westside Resort name as it pushed to meet a planned 3Q26 completion deadline.

Newport World Resorts operator Travellers International Hotel Group Inc is looking to acquire one or more Casino Filipino properties from Philippine gaming regulator PAGCOR as part of its ambitious expansion plans.

Travellers chairman Kevin Tan confirmed the company’s interest during a panel session curated by IAG at G2E this week in which he also said it remains on track to open its US$1.25 billion Westside City hotel and casino development by 3Q26, as put forward by the project’s former owner Suntrust Resort Holdings.

Tan said Travellers “will open” its Westside project next year after assuming majority control from Suntrust as part of a strategic agreement reached in recent months. Inside Asian Gaming broke the news that Travellers was assuming control of the “LET X” development in early August.

He also detailed Travellers broader expansion plans in the Philippines, which could include more boutique casinos in some of sister company Megaworld Corporation’s 37 townships nationwide and acquisition of one or more Casino Filipino properties from regulator PAGCOR.
