Source: https://news.worldcasinodirectory.com/wynn-pushes-forward-on-uae-resort-as-build-out-accelerates-120850Wynn Resorts’ multibillion-dollar development on Al Marjan Island continues to take shape, with new financial disclosures and construction updates offering one of the clearest looks yet at the scale and expectations surrounding the project. Recent investor presentations delivered during a UAE market tour outlined strong revenue projections, rapid progress on site, and rising demand across Ras Al Khaimah’s hospitality sector as the emirate prepares for its first integrated resort with a casino.
Across multiple briefings, Wynn reported that roughly US$3.4 billion of the project’s US$5.1 billion budget has already been spent or contractually committed, equal to about two-thirds of total costs. Executives described a strategy built on broad buyouts, fixed-price arrangements, and contingency planning to manage cost and scheduling risks.
The tower’s structural concrete is complete, and both low-rise structures and guest-room frameworks are nearly finished. Hotel room fit-outs are underway, while exterior glazing on the tower has reached about 70%, according to Inside Asian Gaming. Daily on-site staffing sits at approximately 18,000 workers and specialists.
In late November, the company noted that construction on the 305-meter tower had “reached the 70th floor,” with roof deck work in progress. The updated plan keeps the opening timeline aligned with early 2027.

Buddha-Bar Real Estate Development, a joint venture which will be exclusively managed and represented by Yieldhaüs, is delighted to unveil the highly anticipated design of the region’s first-ever Buddha-Bar Hotel and Floating Residences By Buddha-Bar on Dubai’s World Islands. The Buddha-Bar Hotel
The region’s first Buddha-Bar Hotel will provide 162 keys, with one entire floor dedicated to branded residences, and will reflect the brand’s iconic DNA through an artful fusion of Far Eastern influences and sleek, modern design – transporting guests into a universe coloured by deep reds, gold, Asian colonial motifs, and sensual, lounge-infused ambiance adorned with chandeliers and statues. Travelers can anticipate curated soundscapes and globally-inflected culinary experiences steeped in Pacific Rim flavours served in settings where design, cuisine, and music unite. The in-house spa will offer a mix of Eastern-inspired rituals and modern treatments all designed to boost true relaxation.
Floating Residences By Buddha-Bar
Extending beyond the hotel, a collection of 24 adjacent Floating Residences will glide above the water’s surface, bringing together advanced marine engineering and underwater living amidst the serene beauty of the surrounding coral-rich environment. Each residence will span three distinct levels across 4,000 sqft for up to eight guests and feature a sun-soaked rooftop deck with jacuzzi and dining lounge; a sea-level living space with floor-to-ceiling windows, king-size overwater hammock, and private deck; and an underwater level with two bedrooms framed by coral gardens.
Designed as the world’s first collection of Floating Residences under the Buddha-Bar brand, each of the unit will be treated as a unique sanctuary rather than one of many. Materials and finishes echo quiet opulence: optional Bentley Home furnishings, tactile woods, veined stone, and maritime glass, chosen to let the surrounding seascape remain the hero. Residences are not just places to live but curated experiences.
Buddha-Bar Beach
Buddha-Bar Beach is set to become the social epicentre of The World Islands – a destination where sunrise, sunset and after-dark blend seamlessly. Operated as an all-day, all-night restaurant, lounge and beach club concept, it will offer sunrise yoga sessions, beachside brunches and sunset sets by world-class DJs that evolve into late-night beach parties under the stars.
The venue combines barefoot luxury with Mediterranean chic: a landscaped pool and an adult infinity pool, sunken lounge seating, private cabanas, curated event lawns and direct beach access. By day, guests can unwind with crafted cocktails and fine seafood overlooking the Gulf; by night, the setting transforms into an atmospheric restaurant, lounge and beach club where music and mixology define the rhythm. Guests will experience a lifestyle of effortless privacy, with around-the-clock room service, climate-controlled outdoor areas, and direct access to coral reefs via floating piers linking the residences to the nearby islands.

Newport World Resorts operator Travellers International Hotel Group Inc is looking to acquire one or more Casino Filipino properties from Philippine gaming regulator PAGCOR as part of its ambitious expansion plans.
Travellers chairman Kevin Tan confirmed the company’s interest during a panel session curated by IAG at G2E this week in which he also said it remains on track to open its US$1.25 billion Westside City hotel and casino development by 3Q26, as put forward by the project’s former owner Suntrust Resort Holdings.
Tan said Travellers “will open” its Westside project next year after assuming majority control from Suntrust as part of a strategic agreement reached in recent months. Inside Asian Gaming broke the news that Travellers was assuming control of the “LET X” development in early August.
He also detailed Travellers broader expansion plans in the Philippines, which could include more boutique casinos in some of sister company Megaworld Corporation’s 37 townships nationwide and acquisition of one or more Casino Filipino properties from regulator PAGCOR.

The Shaybah Resort will be built in Saudi Arabia’s Empty Quarter, or Rub' al Khalil in Arabic. The plans look incredible, and I’m sure it’s going to be a magnificent experience. The Empty Quarter is absolutely spectacular, arguably home to the most beautiful desert dunes in the world.

https://asgam.com/2025/07/29/galaxy-macaus-phase-4-hotels-no-longer-deemed-under-construction-by-land-and-urban-construction-bureau/In a keynote speech delivered at G2E Asia in May, GEG Chairman Francis Lui said, “Our Phase 4 development, which is now topped out, promises to be a great leap forward for luxurious hospitality and entertainment worldwide. We are also planning a high-tech branded and immersive theme park.
“These facilities will offer our guests and tourists to Macau a next generation resort experience – one that is always fun and engaging, green and sustainable, technologically-advanced and unforgettably Galaxy.”
While only three hotels are currently under construction, the DSSCU said there are nine hotels in the design stage, all located on the Macau Peninsula, with a total floor area of approximately 31,245 square meters and around 1,000 rooms between them.
Some architectural moments are designed to be unforgettable, and that was our ambition for the Armani Hotel & Residences Diriyah, we wanted to create a defining experience that would leave a lasting impression. This vision led to the creation of the Tower of Light, a four-story vertical lobby designed to captivate and inspire.
