I’ve checked the Hard Rock website, and there is nothing official on their site. For now, I would say this is definitely UNICO, and Hard Rock might come next door at some point. Let's wait and see.

This was announced on April 24, 2025, so I’d say the Hard Rock development might be built where it’s marked, east of UNICO.

JAMAICA is on the cusp of securing another transformative tourism investment with international hospitality group PAM Hotels moving forward with plans to develop a Hard Rock Resort and Casino in Montego Bay.

With the necessary Government approvals, the luxury resort is expected to feature more than 1,000 rooms and will include a full-scale casino, representing a major expansion of Jamaica’s high-end tourism offerings. This development forms part of a broader investment project that also includes the UNICO 18°77° Hotel Jamaica, currently under construction, and the planned AVA Resort Jamaica, all located on an expansive beach front property in Montego Bay, St James.

I took some screenshots from Google Earth. Either the Hard Rock project didn’t move forward, or it may have been announced as part of Unico. The building on the left looks like it could be it. The back side appears quite large, which could potentially be the gaming hall. In the second screenshot, the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is marked to the east of Unico, although there is no sign of construction activity.

I think this is the building. It looks like the back might be a gaming hall.

This is UNICO 18°77°, and from what I understand, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is being built directly to the east of it. So my question is: will the second building of UNICO actually be the Hard Rock, or am I missing something?
