St. Regis Red Sea is a beautiful, really special property with super attentive staff and very good facilities. The only disappointing part was the water — not as clear as in the Maldives. We think the island was once surrounded by mangroves that were cleared, which left the beach shoreline mushy and the water slightly murky.

Shebara is one of the most stunning places I have ever been. Literally looks like the 'pods' have landed from outer space (I am not sure if anyone can remember 'flight of the navigator' but those vibes.....)
