The Palm Crown

The Pointe first opened as a dining and entertainment destination at the top of the Palm Jumeirah in December 2018. But in May 2023, developer Nakheel confirmed that the area – complete with a cinema, dancing fountains and string of eateries – would be redeveloped.

And although Nakheel is yet to officially announce what will happen to The Pointe, several real estate companies have now listed information regarding the new development, called The Palm Crown.

Tadao Ando unveils its designs for the Armani Beach Residences at Palm Jumeirah, a luxury residential complex on the oceanfront in Dubai.

Tadao Ando’s luxurious Armani Beach Residences encompasses 90,000 square feet and consists of 53 individually crafted residences, including two presidential suites, all designed and furnished by Armani/Casa Interior Design Studio.

Dubai’s first SLS Residences will open in 2026.Roya Lifestyle Developments partnered with two design firms to craft the ultra-luxurious residences on Palm Jumeirah. The collaboration between the interior and exterior design teams brings an influx of creativity, the operators said.

Following the construction of Palm Jumeirah, in Dubai, UAE, that started in 2001, Van Oord has now successfully completed the first major maintenance works on the Palm’s trunk, 16 palm leaves and crescent. The beaches have been restored and shaped with quality sand.

Dubai-based master developer Nakheel has launched Como Residences, a new residential development on Palm Jumeriah.

The 71-storey residential tower is over 300 metres tall and features an innovative design that ensures each residence can take full advantage of the 180° to 360° views of Dubai and the Arabian Sea, the developer said in a statement.

Como Residences will have 76 residences consisting of two-to-seven-bedroom apartments, including a spacious duplex penthouse.

Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah Dubai is due to be open by the end of 2022.

Marriott International is growing at a rapid pace in the Middle East. Over the next 15 months, the US hotel group expects to more than 20 hotels and 5,000 keys. In addition, the group hopes to cross 50 hotels just in Dubai – long the tourism hub of the region.
