With the demolition of the old cloakroom, the arrival of the Efteling Grand Hotel is one step closer. In the meantime, almost all old buildings and facilities on Dwarrelplein - the square behind the Efteling entrance House of the Five Senses - have been moved or demolished. Last month, La Place restaurant De Vrolijke Noot and an ATM in the form of a safe were already removed .
This week the building that previously housed the cloakroom and dog kennel disappeared. The cloakroom has temporarily moved to the House of the Five Senses, pending the realization of a new facilities building in the parking lot. A little further on is a relocated toilet block. The dog kennel does not return after 66 years .Source: https://www.looopings.nl/weblog/20143/Entreegebied-Efteling-is-enorme-bouwput-nu-ook-garderobe-gesloopt.htmlEfteling plans to start work on the foundations for the Efteling Grand Hotel after the summer, a 106-metre wide hotel complex with seven floors, 143 rooms, two restaurants, two souvenir shops, a spa and a swimming pool.
