Integrated casino resorts operator Bloomberry Resorts Corp. is on track with the opening of its casino in Quezon City, its second casino resort in the Philippines.

Solaire Resort North is scheduled to open in March 2024 after being forcefully derailed in March 2020, chairman Enrique Razon said in a recent online interview with broadcast journalist Anthony Taberna.

It would open “in March next year,” he said after its development was interrupted by COVID-19-related lockdowns, which forced the construction workers to go home to their provinces.

The pandemic has also resulted in supply bottlenecks that have caused delays in the delivery of key components for the property.

Solaire Resort North would have a test run before the full opening, Razon said.
