Wynn Al Marjan has topped out.

Wynn Al Marjan Island has officially reached its topping out milestone. The UAE’s first fully integrated resort, which will include the UAE’s first casino, will open in Spring 2027.

Rising to 283 metres across 70 floors, the tower has reached its highest structural concrete point 27 months after foundation works began. Upon installation of the spire in 2026, the building will reach its full architectural height of 352 metres, making it the tallest man-made structure in Ras Al Khaimah by more than 100 metres.

Max Tappeiner, President, Wynn Al Marjan Island, said: “Wynn Al Marjan Island is reshaping the skyline of Ras Al Khaimah and anchors a destination designed for guests who expect the very best. Reaching the tower’s highest structural concrete point in just over two years is more than a construction achievement; it is a defining moment for Wynn Resorts and a powerful testament to the talent and dedication of the teams bringing this vision to life.”

Construction progress continues across every area of the resort. All 1,530 guest accommodations have now reached full structural completion, with interior fit-outs actively underway across 1,504 rooms and suites. The tower’s structural concrete frame is complete, with façade installation progressing at pace and 79 percent of panels already installed. Surrounding low-rise buildings have reached 99 percent structural completion, with interior partitions and MEP works well advanced.

Once open, Wynn Al Marjan Island will span more than 60 hectares and offer 1,217 resort rooms, 297 Enclave suites, two Royal Apartments, four Garden Townhomes and 10 Marina Estates. The destination will feature 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, a beach club, a luxury spa and beauty destination, and a skylit retail parterre showcasing leading luxury brands. Additional highlights include Coral Court, a bespoke celebrations and events venue, The Showroom theatre, 12 swimming pools, a 420m white-sand beach and a deep-water marina designed to accommodate superyachts.

To commemorate the topping out milestone, senior leaders from Wynn Resorts, Wynn Design & Development and Marjan gathered at the summit of the tower overlooking panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Guests received commemorative steel bars taken from the structure itself and took part in pouring the final concrete.

Abdulla Al Abdouli, Group CEO, Marjan, added: “Wynn Al Marjan Island is more than a single development; it is the centrepiece of a new global destination taking shape in Ras Al Khaimah. Reaching this construction milestone brings us closer to welcoming the world to a resort that will redefine the Emirate’s hospitality offering and elevate Al Marjan Island and Ras Al Khaimah as a must-visit destination. Together with Wynn Resorts, we are creating a destination that blends iconic design, exceptional experiences and enduring value for residents, tourists and the wider tourism economy.”

To date, the project has poured more than 438,000 cubic metres of concrete and created over 18,000 construction jobs. In parallel, Wynn Resorts and Marjan are advancing their second joint-venture development, Janu Al Marjan Island, set to open in late 2028, reinforcing the long-term vision for Al Marjan Island as a world-class destination.

Barry Lewis, CEO at ALEC Holdings said: “We congratulate Wynn on this major achievement and are proud to be their partner on a project that continues to redefine what is possible in regional construction. Their willingness to embrace the latest advancements in building technologies has enabled us to streamline workflows, elevate quality and maintain precision across every component of this landmark development. As we move into the next phase, our teams remain fully committed to delivering a world-class destination that stands out in every regard.”

Wynn Resorts’ multibillion-dollar development on Al Marjan Island continues to take shape, with new financial disclosures and construction updates offering one of the clearest looks yet at the scale and expectations surrounding the project. Recent investor presentations delivered during a UAE market tour outlined strong revenue projections, rapid progress on site, and rising demand across Ras Al Khaimah’s hospitality sector as the emirate prepares for its first integrated resort with a casino.

Across multiple briefings, Wynn reported that roughly US$3.4 billion of the project’s US$5.1 billion budget has already been spent or contractually committed, equal to about two-thirds of total costs. Executives described a strategy built on broad buyouts, fixed-price arrangements, and contingency planning to manage cost and scheduling risks.

The tower’s structural concrete is complete, and both low-rise structures and guest-room frameworks are nearly finished. Hotel room fit-outs are underway, while exterior glazing on the tower has reached about 70%, according to Inside Asian Gaming. Daily on-site staffing sits at approximately 18,000 workers and specialists.

In late November, the company noted that construction on the 305-meter tower had “reached the 70th floor,” with roof deck work in progress. The updated plan keeps the opening timeline aligned with early 2027.
