  1. A new “Hygge” themed hotel is set to open in Dubai within the next two years. A project by Dubai-based real estate and property developer Kleindienst Group, the new property is named after the Scandinavian philosophy of hygge – a concept that’s Danish in origin, with the word conveying a sense of contentment, simplicity, and the quiet joy of everyday life. The hotel will be located within The Heart of Europe on Dubai’s World Islands, and is scheduled to open in the first half of 2027.

The 96-key hotel, which will feature four restaurants, has been designed to offer a sense of calm and connection through spaces that encourage reflection and relaxation. According to the developer, the focus will be on delivering guest experiences that prioritise comfort and a sense of warmth, through intentional design, service, and atmosphere.

World Islands Dubai will be welcoming a new member to its hotel family with the announcement that the InterContinental Resort Portofino, The Heart of Europe will be taking up residence in 2026.

The first resort property by the InterContinental brand in the emirate is set to feature 466 rooms and suites that showcase a blend of contemporary Mediterranean design and traditional Italian influences, inspired by the charm of Portofino and the Italian Riviera as well as unimpeded sea views.
The new hotel will be a part of The Heart of Europe Coral Institute, a centre that protects and rehabilitates marine life and coral reefs, and nature lovers will be able to gaze upon marine life in the hotel itself with floor-to-ceiling aquariums across six floors.

After delays, Dubai's World Islands developer hopes ''The Heart of Europe'' megaproject is set to fully open by 2026.
Josef Kleindienst chairman of the Kleindienst Group said:''48 of the floating villas will be handed over by the end of this year.''

The project's first phase, which includes the transfer of over 50 floating "seahorse" homes, will be finished by the end of this year, according to The Kleindienst Group. Côte d’Azur Monaco welcomed guests from September 2022, and it looks set to be one of the most exciting new hotels in Dubai. When the project is finished, it will also include 16 hotels and "palaces" with access to a private beach.

The magnificent lagoon and sand-surrounded Cote d'Azur Monaco Hotel, debuted in September 2022. Mediterranean waters that are pleasantly calm, raucous poolside gatherings, stunning ocean views and beautiful sunrises. You may get glimpses of the charming Cote D'Azur Monaco Hotel as you are drawn in by its magnetic attraction.
