Although final bids were submitted in May, the client will re-tender in the coming months. The village, designed by Aedas and intended to be the Middle East's first outdoor ski resort, is the planned venue for the 2029 Asian Winter Games. However, high-level discussions are underway to potentially move the event's venue to South Korea.
