  1. There has been work on the ground in 2021 as shown on Google Maps but it's slow, hopefully when the next update on Google Maps is ready there will be some real work showing.

The video of the blast in the post below was shot from the car park you can see in the top of this image. It's easy to find on maps if you look for "OTC Table Rock Campus" and it's just over the highway to the east.

Found some news on the project:

Delays push Hollister resort into 2024
The Hollister water park resort project announced in summer 2020 by an Orlando, Florida-based development and hospitality group is still a go but will miss its originally projected 2023 opening, according to city officials.

  3. I'm not sure if this link will post right or not but it is the video from Facebook where they blasted to break ground.

    It appears you were right.
The group (have in mind Imagine Resorts and Hotels) promises to break ground in 2021.
I found this info here https://www.ky3.com/2020/07/29/group-releases-plans-for-resort-water-park-in-hollister-mo/.
But I couldn't find any corroborating information that it happened.

Does anyone know if there is any movement on this resort? I can't find anything really since it's announcement and Google Maps hasn't been updated since the last image. It looks like this could be a dead project?

An Orlando, Florida-based development and hospitality group is making a big splash in Hollister with the announcement of a $250 million-$300 million waterpark resort that’s expected to produce at least 450 jobs.
He said the project is in the design phase to determine schematics, programming and final budgeting. It’s expected to take over two years to build with a 2023-targeted opening.
The plans call for a 100,000-square-foot indoor waterpark; 450 guest rooms and cabins; up to eight restaurants; 40,000 square feet of family entertainment space; 30,000 square feet of convention center space; 10,000 square feet of retail space; and spa areas for adults and children.
It sounds like Hollister is aiming to become a real destination for vacation time.
The Hollister resort is the latest county project that seeks to draw visitors year-round. Aquarium at the Boardwalk is expected to open along Branson’s 76 Strip this fall, according to its website, while indoor amusement park WonderWorks Branson LLC opened in June.

  9. Imagine Resorts & Hotels is set to open a new family resort and waterpark near Branson, Missouri. The attraction will feature various themes from familiar toy brands such as My Little Pony, Transformers, Mr. Potato Head, Monopoly, and more. The resort will sit on 68-acres of land and will feature a 575,000-square-foot indoor water park, 450 guest rooms, adult and child spas and multiple restaurants. The resort is scheduled to open in 2023.
