It's impossible to access the Durrat community through that gate unless you live there or are visiting friends. They still seem to be building villas, but to be honest, I've seen a few of the older ones from the inside, and I found the interiors a bit underwhelming.

There hasn't been much update on Durrat Al Bahrain but Google Streetview was updated in November 2024 and you can now see a lot more of the houses etc that line the islands.
Struggling to find how much work is still to do and Google Earth has not been updated since July 2024 so these are the most recent aerials I can find. There are still two islands without construction.
