Located in Nizwa, the crossroads of Oman, the Oman Across Ages Museum Project is a cultural and educational hallmark for locals and visitors. Commissioned by Sultan Qaboos bin Said al-Said, the museum is a celebration of the country's economic, cultural and social renaissance since the 1970s.
Oman Tourism College recently welcomed representatives from Oman Across Ages Museum for a campus tour, and discussions on future collaborations in tourism.

The opening date has been generally discussed as 2021 and that's still the date on many supplier and official websites but today I did find this, from a supplier which has 2022 as the opening date listed. This company is designing the interior so I would think they would be pretty up to date with the project's process.
The mission of the Oman Across Ages Museum is to tell the story of the Omani people, their history, their territory and their culture. Femme Fatale Studio was in charge of designing and producing some fifteen interactive or audiovisual multimedia devices for the museum's permanent exhibition. Interactive games, didactic and spectacular animations, screens, tables and tactile walls: the aim of all the devices is to create a coherent narrative around the Sultanate, which interweaves past, tradition, future and modernity.
Production in progress, scheduled to open in 2022.

That's extremely slow construction progress, pandemic or not.
This thread refers to a 2021 opening date, that is, within the next 60 days.
Is that really set in stone?
