Features of the Floating Palace

The eye-catching Floating Palace includes four sections, which will be linked in the middle by a glass pyramid that will house bars, restaurants, spas, pools and a yacht parking deck, to name a few.

The development will include 12 luxury villas on its roof with a further 12 eco-friendly glass boat houses that surround and link to the hotel.

The villas are called Neptune and are powered by solar energy. They have self-sterilising air filtration systems and use automated technology to operate the entire house. The Neptunes have two floors, a balcony, and a roof with an outdoor swimming pool. The ‘ground’ floor includes a kitchen, a living room and two additional rooms for maids, while the first floor consists of four ensuite bedrooms. Each floor measures 300sq m.

The interiors will be created by Laila Aziz in collaboration with Aston Martin.

Kempinski Floating Palace to Open in 2023.

For the first time in Dubai, a luxury hotel will operate as a floating building around which 12 other floating luxury villas are grouped with the possibility to sail to other anchorages at times. Anchored next to one of the most exclusive beach stretches in Dubai on Jumeirah Beach Road, guests of Kempinski Floating Palace are brought to the 156-room-and-suite hotel or their villas by speed boat or arrive directly with their own boats. Moreover, there is also a connected floating helipad next to a yacht parking deck for up to 16 yachts.

The innovative project by Seagate Shipyard will be open to guests from 2023 onwards, according to Bernold Schroeder, CEO of Kempinski Group and chairman of the management board of Kempinski AG.
