Meliá Ho Tram Beach Resort has welcomed this month’s grand opening of sister developments at The Pier, South East Asia’s longest pier, and at Hamptons Plaza, a shopping, dining and entertainment precinct.Stretching over 270 metres into the East Sea, the pier is a first for Vietnam. With a design inspired by California’s famous piers including Santa Monica Pier, Hermosa Beach Pier, and Venice Fishing Pier, the new attraction makes the most of Ho Tram’s idyllic beach setting.
The pier is connected to Hamptons Plaza, a lively commercial and service street that stakes a claim as the only upscale plaza in Vietnam that overlooks the sea. In addition to shopping stores, entertainment spaces suitable for events, a music fountain for children, and murals, Hamptons Plaza is home to diverse local and international dining options.

It looks like there are a number of new resorts coming to the east of the other resorts featured in this thread.
In this video they feature a couple of resorts and a small water park that are being built along the coast. Can anyone translate what the video is saying for more info on what exactly is being built?
New renderings from the Ixora Tramstrip.

So I just noticed that in the last post the architect said essentially that opening wouldn't be until 2021 however the official site still says 2020 opening...
I think it's safe to say the architect might be right on this one. While The existing Grand is set to be rebranded as the Intercontinental Grand Ho Tram, the Holiday Inn is in the final stages of its fit-out and is set to open to guests later this year.

Just trying to work out some of the details as to what is being delivered with this expansion.
This was the information for the building of the second tower in 2017... it was expected to house a waterpark which I can find no other information on.
Source: https://thegrandhotram.com/holy-khoi/Meanwhile, The Grand’s second tower, the 559-room five star hotel named The Beach Club is 13-floors out of the ground and estimated to top-out within three months. The second tower will include a waterpark and 2000 person amphitheater as well as extensive leisure amenities for guests.
I also think that this means the new tower - previously know as The Beach Club - is the one that's now being listed as a new Holiday Inn?
Does anyone know if that's correct or have any updates on the second tower or waterpark elements?Holiday Inn Resort Ho Tram Beach will be a 502-key hotel featuring facilities geared for family fun. Guests can enjoy their time at swimming pools and enjoy captivating views of the long coastline at the 360-degree rooftop bar. Additionally, the hotel will have direct access to facilities including a cinema, bowling arcade, food court and water park.
