Suncity Group’s Philippines subsidiary, Suntrust Home Developers Inc, has announced revisions to agreements inked with Megawide Construction Corporation that suggest completion of the group’s Manila integrated resort could be delayed until early 2024.
The LOA grants two packages to Megawide for construction of Suntrust’s Westside City Resort hotel and casino project , with Package 1 comprising a Pile Cap, Excavation & ELS Direct Contract at a cost of Php2.27 billion. Package 2 is the main site contract and includes the basement substructure, superstructure and ABWF (Architectural Builders Works and Finishes) at a cost of Php4.02 billion.

The project was originally planned for completion in late 2023, but Suntrust said Thursday it had agreed to extend the completion date for Package 2 until “no later than March 31, 2024 in order to afford the parties some flexibility.”

Google Maps has now been updated and you can start to see the layout as per the masterplan concept art below.

Gentry Manor continues to have work done though it doesn't look like much progress in the past 6 months.

Tree's have been cleared at the mall and Resorts World site, with space for the new Bridge coming from the back of the Gentry Manor Resort.

The Grand Western Hotel and Bayshore 2 continue to grow and land looks like it has now been cleared the the Sunny Coast build also.

Could this finally be an overall master plan for the area? It's the first time I have seen a theme park mentioned.

Westside City, at the Bay Area, is a fully integrated mixed-use Township--Westside Mall, Resorts World Manila Casino, dining strips, fitness center, Hotels, Office Towers, Walkable Community, Themed Park, fully contained Residential development enabled by Smart Home Technology.

MEGAWIDE Construction Corp. on Monday said it bagged “multiple” contracts amounting to P26.3 billion from Suntrust Home Developers, Inc. for its Westside City Resorts World project.

“The initial letters of award from Suntrust — totaling P6.3 billion — included initial works such as pile cap, excavation, and lateral support direct contract, worth P2.3 billion, and Site B main contract, including basement substructure, superstructure, and architectural builders works and finishes, amounting to P4 billion,” the listed engineering and construction company said in an e-mailed statement.
“The project is expected to be completed within 30 months from start date,” Megawide said. Suntrust is the Philippine unit of Hong Kong-listed Suncity Group Holdings Ltd.

    Thank you for your answer!

The one that is marked on the map as Gentry Manor, is that considered part of resorts world or is that map of the overall city plan? That location has works ongoing recently so that's why I am interested - it's marked on google maps as "resorts world" but I couldn't find anything real with that location and the name shared. I'll check it out under Gentry Manor but any further info would be interesting.

Does anyone know if this Resorts World Resort will have multiple hotel brands under it like the one in Vegas will? So they have one "resort" but multiple brands?
