    Thank you for your answer!

The one that is marked on the map as Gentry Manor, is that considered part of resorts world or is that map of the overall city plan? That location has works ongoing recently so that's why I am interested - it's marked on google maps as "resorts world" but I couldn't find anything real with that location and the name shared. I'll check it out under Gentry Manor but any further info would be interesting.

Does anyone know if this Resorts World Resort will have multiple hotel brands under it like the one in Vegas will? So they have one "resort" but multiple brands?

  3. The development has two parts to it and it seems that the word Bayshore has been removed from the branding. Sometimes it goes by “Resorts World Westside City” but mostly “Westside City Resorts World”

The first part of the development is the residential towers you mentioned which are pretty much complete. The second part is the main resort which as of September 2020 has barely started construction but hopefully that’ll change soon. You can see the areas laid out here...

Does anyone have any information on what specifically "Westside City Resorts World is going to consist of? I feel like this resort is having an identity crisis.

This looks like it was originally named Bayshore only which seems to be completed (there are two sites marked the same on google maps, see below) but was then changed to be "Westside City Resorts World".

The only mention I can find of this specific name is with the Suntrust investment articles which are the latest ones on the thread. None of the artwork for any of these resorts matches up with anything else nor with the pictures already on the thread which seem to be mainly of a residential tower close to the planned resort site.

  5. Hong Kong-listed Suncity Group Holdings Limited has provided an extra US$46 million (MOP367.2 million) deposit to the company responsible for the development of the Westside City Resorts project in Manila, Philippines.
SunTrust signed a lease agreement with Westside City to use a site in Manila, where an integrated resort known as Westside City Resorts will be developed, with US$200 million to be paid for the use of the project site and reimbursement of the costs incurred for the project.

The project site is currently evaluated at US$340 million, with Suntrust to hold the land rights until August 19, 2039, which shall automatically be renewed for another 25 unless otherwise agreed upon by the lessor and the lessee.

  6. SunTrust becomes listed tourism business as Suncity releases first renderings of Manila hotel and casino project

Suncity Group Holdings Ltd’s Philippines subsidiary, SunTrust Home Developers Inc, has been approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Philippines to amend its primary and secondary purposes to focus on tourism-related business.

The amendment, which comes after Suncity Group acquired a majority 51% stake in the Philippines entity last year, relates to its participation in the Westside City Resorts World project in Manila’s Entertainment City where SunTrust is set to embark on a US$700 million hotel and casino development.

The project, to have a total gross floor area of 182,000 square meters, will include 400 gaming tables and 1,200 slot machines across both VIP and mass gaming, plus 400 five-star hotel rooms and 960 parking spaces, and is due to open in 4Q22. The Westside City Resorts World township will also offer additional facilities such as a Grand Theatre, shopping malls and 2,000 parking spaces.

“Suncity is laying down a solid growth blueprint,” said Suncity Chairman Alvin Chau.

“I am very excited to see the company achieving one milestone after another. Firstly, in Vietnam, Hoiana is ready to be unveiled to the public as early as summer 2020, and in Russia, Tigre de Cristal’s Phase 1 upgrade will be up-and-running later in 2020.

“Now, SunTrust is finally a listed tourism and integrated resort company in the Philippines – very exciting times ahead for Suncity indeed.”

Google images from February showing the construction ongoing in the area. You can also use street view in that area with relatively up to date images.
