The support columns for the Madagascar walk-through habitat (named "Lemur Land" in development plans) being erected. The design of the habitat will be the same as the aviaries at Bird Paradise - tall columns holding up the stainless steel netting. The habitat looks to be about 1 hectare in size based on plans. The African half of Rainforest Wild is expected to open in 2025. The Asian half could be open by the end of this year.

Over the final five days from last Friday, Jurong Bird Park had more than 30,000 visitors, the Mandai Wildlife Group that manages the park said.

The East Arrival will serve the existing Zoo, Night Safari and River Wonders, as well as the new Rainforest Wild (Africa), indoor nature attractions and hotel. The basement level which houses a transport hub is almost complete and the indoor nature attractions are now taking shape above.

This is the maximum height of the hotel, at 5 storeys. It is expected to open in late 2023 or early 2024 and will have 338 rooms.
