Developed by Shopoff Realty Investments and Contour, in partnership with Dream Hotel Group, Dream Las Vegas will be a driving force in the ongoing revitalization and rejuvenation of the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. The 531-room lifestyle hotel and casino pairs global architecture firm DLR Group with interior design by AvroKo, Rockwell Group and DLR Interiors, and is expected to open with seven experiential dining and nightlife venues, 12,000 square feet of meeting and event space and a 20,000-square-foot casino, in late 2024.

"The Dream Las Vegas development is a great investment in our local economy – to boost tourism and create thousands of new jobs," said Nevada State Governor Steve Sisolak. "I'm excited to see the resort come to life in 2024, offering even more first-class amenities and service, and extending our State's long history as a leader in hospitality and tourism."

Set to open in late 2024, Dream Las Vegas features 531 highly appointed guestrooms and suites, and seven original dining and nightlife options, including a third-level resort pool and day club, two bar and lounge concepts on the gaming floor, a lobby bar, craft coffee café and gelateria on the street level, as well as a sporting club, boutique nightclub, signature restaurant and 24-hour diner on the third floor.

The lifestyle hotel will also offer 12,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a 5,000-square-foot ballroom and 90-seat live entertainment theatre, a 20,000-square-foot casino and gaming floor, a fitness center by TechnoGym and on-site parking. Casino and gaming operations will be led by Peninsula Pacific Entertainment (P2E). Situated along emerging South Las Vegas Blvd., the hotel's presence will support the local community and the 32 million tourists that visit Las Vegas each year, adding another facet to the south end of the Strip.

Jubail Island launches new premium residential district - Ain Al Maha Village.
A total of 240waterfront villas will be built in Jubail Island’s latest waterfront residential community complex, with an Estuary Park and water channel among the prominent landmark features

The project is scheduled to be completed in Q1 2025 and will also include a world-class school, 1 mosque, and shopping and dining facilities within two community centres.
Following Jubail Island’s unprecedented demand, with 90% of the current inventory sold-out, the launch of Ain Al Maha is testament to the strong real estate market in the capital. Construction work is well underway for Jubail Island, with 95 percent of infrastructure completed while 40 percent of the villas are under construction.

There has been a bit of a delay in getting the funding bid in for Eden Project North.

A vital bid for £50m to help bring the Eden Project North to Morecambe is all set to go in - but the government's website isn't ready to accept it. The Eden bid was due to go in to the Department for Levelling Up on July 6 but the 'online portal' for submitting applications has not yet been opened.

A government spokesperson said: “We’re working to open the online portal for the second round of Levelling Up Fund bids as soon as possible. “Once it’s open it will be live for two weeks to give applicants time to put their bids in.”

Banyan Tree Ulala will be opening in the second half of the year. It looks pretty nice and will add to the overall resort vision for Saudi Arabia.

AlUla is billed as a cultural oasis and open-air living museum. The location is home to the Ashar valley, which has been chosen by the Royal Commission of AlUla (RCU), as one of the sites to develop the Kingdom into a world class tourist destination. The resort will be located 15km from the Kingdom’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hegra.
Accor, under the Banyan Tree brand, will operate the Ashar Tented Resort with 47 new high-end suites in addition to 35 renovated suites positioned on a neighbouring site, bringing the total number of units up to 82.

The 47 tented suites have been designed in relation to the coves created by rock formations, situated to give extended views across the desertscape while providing maximum privacy for guests. The resort blends seamlessly into the natural scenery of the Ashar Valley, while pedestrian trails through a landscape dominated with sand dunes creates an intimate experience, reinforcing the camping mindset of the location.

Compared to an earlier vision of the complex, architecture and thematic elements will be more in harmony with the locale as well as surrounding developments around the massive Hellenikon Metropolitan Park on the land formerly occupied by the Hellenikon International Airport.

The development writ large was scheduled to begin in 2008 but was shelved during the world financial crisis. Work began again in 2020 with a full completion date for the metro park expected in 2029. The site will see some of Greece’s largest buildings at over 200 meters (60 stories) along with a marina, shops, and luxury homes.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Athens will include key design elements such as open spaces, water features, and gardens, with green spaces covering about 205,000 m2 or 50 acres.

The Tower will have three distinct orientations, each paying homage to the sea, Acropolis, or Mount Hymettus, and will symbolize a harmonic convergence of land, sky, and sea.Inside, visitors will find a massive casino floor of more than 160,000 sq feet hosting two thousand electronic game machines and 200 gaming tables. The live theater will accommodate 3,000 with a stage that can extend outside to entertain a total of more than 10,000 for outdoor events. The outdoor concert lawn is inspired by the ancient Greek amphitheater.

More inside/outside connections are designed into the project with the highest rooftop terrace in the country including a pool deck, bars, Body Rock Fitness, and the Rock Spa.Guest accommodations include over 1,000 rooms and suites with well over 3,000 total beds. All external rooms will have views of Athens, some including the Parthenon, or will be overlooking the waterfront.

Anantara Resort opened on The World Islands (it's not part of the Heart of Europe) in December 2021.

I have seen nothing of this resort up to now and they seem to still be hosting PR trips 6 months after opening which isn't promising!

In December, the artificial archipelago got its first hotel: A five-star resort operated by Anantara that sits on the island representing Argentina and offers 70 beachfront villas with panoramic views of Dubai’s skyscraper-strewn skyline.

From a jetty on the Palm Jumeirah, a 15-minute transfer via speedboat provides views of Dubai landmarks such as the self-styled “seven-star” Burj Al Arab hotel. As the boat enters through the World’s oval breakwater, the Anantara resort comes into view, its circumference marked out by a thousand coconut trees imported from Oman. Staff clap arriving guests in a ceremony aping traditions in the Maldives. Peacocks root among young plants dotted around the beachfront.

For the most part, the operation is already well-oiled. Staff are attentive but give guests some privacy, communicating via WhatsApp rather than intrusive phone calls. A Mediterranean-themed restaurant provides a buffet breakfast and all-day eating. Qamar, the fine-dining outlet, boasts a porch overlooking the sea, where they serve Arabic and Indian food, including some of the finest naan in Dubai.

It takes a gentle 30-minute walk to circumnavigate the island and, while most of the World remains unbuilt on, a handful of other developments are visible. There are the lush surroundings of “Greenland”, where Sheikh Mohammed has a villa, and apartment blocks and Viking longship-themed palaces on “The Heart of Europe”, a residential and hospitality complex over six islands.

As you can see, what used to be a beloved dinner show at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is now just a pile of rubble and debris. This destruction comes months after Disney announced a huge expansion would be happening at the Resort, so we are sure we’ll have a lot to look forward to in the future.

A new aerial photo shows the enormous building site where the Efteling Grand Hotel is soon to be built. In 2024, a seven-storey, 143-room hotel complex will open at the main entrance. Although construction has not yet started, the area has already been completely overhauled. Drone pilot Nick Ringelberg captured the current state of affairs on the construction site.
