Island A

This Island is the gateway to Dubai Islands. This part of Dubai Islands features a blend of commercial, residential, and recreational facilities. This island will also be home to seaside Dubai Islands properties including residential buildings and villas.

The Island A is also designed as the hub of maritime activities, providing top-notch facilities for boating and waterfront living. It is also the first island of the Mega Project to go under development. So far, it is the only island with functional infrastructure and connectivity.

Known as the Oasis Island, this part of Dubai Islands will be built like a retreat. It’s is the 18-hole golf course. It will also be home to several interesting Dubai Islands properties including country style clubs, resorts, marina, and villa community. The island will also have many wellness centred facilities as well as attractions for families.

Island D

This island will be dedicated to sports, athletics, recreation, and outdoor activities. The primary attraction of Island D is a 9 hole golf course. Besides the sports island will be home to several other Dubai Islands properties including country clubs, stadiums, adventure sport venues, water sports, and so on.

Staff at Osaka’s Expo 2025 Will Wear Air-Conditioned Jackets That Puff Up

The uniforms designed for the staff at NTT Pavilion Expo 2025 Osaka feature outerwear with built-in electric fans to help keep the wearer cool during warm weather. Placed on one side, the electric fan blows air when activated, causing the clothing to inflate and the wearer to resemble a cloud. “Drawn from the concept of parallel travel, the clothing uses wind to demonstrate the visual and feeling of traveling through time and space,” the company notes.

During an exclusive first-ever media tour of Saudi Arabia’s THE LINE, Al Arabiya English witnessed the massive construction of this groundbreaking urban project at the heart of NEOM.

Speaking to Al Arabiya English, COO Giles Pendleton dismissed speculation of a scale-back, affirming that THE LINE will be delivered in planned phases.

A view of the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi under construction on Saadiyat Island. The architect is Frank Gehry, and work begain in 2011. The expected opening date is next year. It looks like it will be a stunning addition to the cultural sector in Abu Dhabi.

With only a few short months until the resort opens (Mid-May 2025), lots of progress is being made! Landscaping upgrades and further development of the water park can be seen.

Tickets will be sold at the door for the World Expo 2025 that will kick off in Osaka in April.

It's another beautiful day at the NEOM site. The new piling area is getting ready. Very soon, we will start the 90m depth and 2500 mm diameter of piles. The site preparation is underway and almost done.

With this verdict, Five Star can focus on completing the long-delayed project.

Construction on world's tallest skyscraper "officially restarts" in Jeddah

The developer behind Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia has announced that the long-stalled project, designed by Chicago studio Adrian Smith + Gill Gordon Architecture, will complete in 2028.

Developer Kingdom Holding Company announced that the project, which will be the world's tallest building when completed, had restarted at a ceremony last week.

"Construction of the Jeddah Tower, a global symbol of ambition and progress, has officially restarted," said Kingdom Holding Company.
