  1. Google Maps has now been updated and you can start to see the layout as per the masterplan concept art below.

    Gentry Manor continues to have work done though it doesn't look like much progress in the past 6 months.

    Tree's have been cleared at the mall and Resorts World site, with space for the new Bridge coming from the back of the Gentry Manor Resort.

    The Grand Western Hotel and Bayshore 2 continue to grow and land looks like it has now been cleared the the Sunny Coast build also.

    The Grand Lisboa Palace has passed several of the final government inspections, and is expected to receive an operating permit “soon”, the CEO of SJM Holdings, Ambrose So, stated in the gaming operator’s 2020 annual report.
    ‘The subsequent opening of the Grand Lisboa Palace will relieve some of the cost pressures on our existing operation, as we will be able to transfer a large number of current employees to the new property,’ So added. SJM Holdings posted a net loss of HK$409 million in the first quarter this year, with the project’s expenses having dragged the group’s pandemic recovery.

    This video uploaded today shows absolutely nothing going on with the two plots of land planned for future hotels. What a shame.

    Apartments are now being listed for sale with new images of the resort. I think this is the first time we have seen inside The Azur Hotel?

    A sneaky quote dropped in that the resort will open (subject to COVID) in June 2021!

    The Heart of Europe to deliver the Middle East’s largest and most sustainable swimming pool as it prepares to open the French Riviera in Dubai

    Grand Azur is eight times larger than an Olympic swimming pool and will be the lifestyle hub linking a quartet of boutique hotels at the centre of the glamourous Côte d’Azur resort. Measuring 12,000 square metres, it will be the largest and the most sustainable pool in the Middle East and be part of Côte d’Azur Resort at the Heart of Europe leisure tourism destination
    With a perimeter of more than 1km and containing a staggering 14,000 cubic meters of sustainably-desalinated water, the mega-pool is one of many Heart of Europe regional and international firsts. Grand Azur is clever as well as big, however, utilising solar energy to illuminate, recycle, heat and cool the eco-friendly water that will relax and thrill guests.

    Monaco will set the tone when it welcomes guests during a ‘soft’ opening in June 2021 (subject to government Covid-19 restrictions). All four uniquely-located, upscale Côte d’Azur hotels are scheduled for an official public launch in October, in time for EXPO guests, adding 893 keys to the Dubai hospitality portfolio.

    Interesting overview of all the construction projects ongoing in Las Vegas

    In this video:

    MSG Sphere Las Vegas – Despite the recent sale of the Venetian, this 17,000+ seat state of the art theater is moving forward with construction. Right now they are raising the roof pieces into place which is quite amazing to see.

    Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall & Vegas Loop – This massive expansion adds over 600K square feet of new exhibit space along with the first stations of the new Tesla Vegas Loop. In this Vegas Loop tour we'll check out two of the new system's first stations.

    The Pass Casino - Downtown Henderson's historic Eldorado Casino is being re-imagined into The Pass. Recently sold by Boyd gaming this old casino is getting ready to open once again with a completely new name and look.

    Henderson Events Center - Home to the Henderson Silver Knights beginning in 2022, this 6,000 seat arena replace the Henderson Pavilion amphitheater which sat on the same spot.

    Virgin Hotels Las Vegas - The old Hard Rock Hotel is getting ready to re-open with a new entrance, theme and name. This Virgin Hotels Las Vegas tour will show you the frontage and new entryway just days before opening.

    Sahara Restaurant Row – As part of their $150 million in renovations Sahara is converting their Strip frontage into four new eateries. This is probably one of the most underrated casinos on the Strip!

    The Drew (Old Fontainebleau) – Abandoned for over a decade this project was recently bought. What will happen?

    Resorts World Las Vegas Construction Tour – World class food and entertainment along with 3,500 rooms spread across 3 Hilton brands.

    Grand Lisboa Palace Hotel will have a Portuguese restaurant with a Michelin gastronomy guide confirmed Angela Leong, co-chair of SJM's parent company. She also informed that the new hotel is expected to open in the first half of 2021.
    The identity of the chef remained secret but she pointed out that the chef was distinguished by the Michelin brand guide and that his name is well known in Portugal. However, the co-chairman of SJM's parent company acknowledged that the outbreak could cause the opening of the restaurant to be postponed. Due to the outbreak of the disease, the chef has yet to arrive in Macao. He is currently in Portugal but she made it clear that after the outbreak, he will return to Macao to run the restaurant.

    The new Great Wolf Lodge in Manteca, California has been delayed to June 15th but it does look like this will be the final postponement for the resort.

    Great Wolf is no longer opening March 23. The fifth— and likely final — postponement of the much anticipated christening of the 500-room indoor water park resort as a major Northern California attraction has been pushed back to June 15.

    A new potential resort for the UK?

    People living near the Derbyshire village of Crich are being asked for their views on plans to build a huge waterpark in a nearby derelict quarry. The Crich Quarry hasn't been used for more than a decade, but revised plans could soon see it become a hive of activity for the next few years.
    The plans include:
    * a 116-bed hotel
    * 148 straw bale lodges, with seven floating
    * 210 holiday lodges
    * shops
    * restaurants
    * a sports hall
