Not sure if this quite fits the "Artificial Island" thread but it's a weird Dubai resort in the water so think it fits. Kempinski Floating Palace to Open in 2023

For the first time in Dubai, a luxury hotel will operate as a floating building around which 12 other floating luxury villas are grouped with the possibility to sail to other anchorages at times. Anchored next to one of the most exclusive beach stretches in Dubai on Jumeirah Beach Road, guests of Kempinski Floating Palace are brought to the 156-room-and-suite hotel or their villas by speed boat or arrive directly with their own boats. Moreover, there is also a connected floating helipad next to a yacht parking deck for up to 16 yachts.
The innovative project by Seagate Shipyard will be open to guests from 2023 onwards, according to Bernold Schroeder, CEO of Kempinski Group and chairman of the management board of Kempinski AG.

Google Earth Maps was updated in February.

Note how unfinished this resort is despite the adverts we have seen for ones for sale which are the only ones surrounding the "finished" pool. All the others are still nowhere near done with pools empty.

Las Vegas real estate investor Steve Siegel is perhaps best known for his portfolio of low-priced apartment complexes bearing his name. But he has also acquired hotels and other buildings near the Strip, and now he is the casino corridor’s newest landowner.

Siegel, founder of The Siegel Group, purchased roughly 10 acres of real estate on and near the north Strip for $75 million. The sale closed this week, property records show.
The buyer now has more than 12 acres of contiguous property along Las Vegas Boulevard and Convention Center Drive, Clark County records show, and says he is eyeing a project that could include a hotel-casino, condo units and retail.
One of the parcels, a 5-acre plot next to the Peppermill restaurant, sold for $180 million alone in fall 2007, not long before Las Vegas’ frenzied real estate market crashed.

In October 2020, an anonymous buyer purchased a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton, known as Stan, for $31.8 million, the most expensive fossil ever purchased at auction. For two years, the bones disappeared from the public eye, leaving paleontologists concerned about the potential loss to science—until now.

For National Geographic, reporter Michael Greshko has revealed the dinosaur will be housed in a new natural history museum in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

National Geographic's Greshko, who broke the story on Stan's new home, found Stan using United States' shipping and trade records. He identified a shipment worth $31,847,500—Stan's exact sale price—that was exported from New York to the UAE in May 2021. On March 23, 2022, Abu Dhabi's Department of Culture and Tourism confirmed Stan's new home would be in the new Natural History Museum of Abu Dhabi, which is currently under construction and slated to open in 2025, per National Geographic.

    Pushed back to 2025.

Plans for the UK's first all-season beach have been revealed inside the huge Therme Manchester indoor resort and spa coming to TraffordCity. New images of the extraordinary indoor beach, which will include lapping waves on soft sands, have been released today for the first time.

It is part of a series of detailed new additions to the existing plans for the spectacular £250m well-being resort and waterpark that will boast an incredible 20 pools and 35 water slides. It will be built where Event City currently sits next to the Trafford Centre, although the anticipated opening for late 2023 has now been set back to 2025.

The "urban beach" element at the resort will be part of Therme's "next generation waterpark" with an array of water slides, thermal bathing and a wellbeing spa.

The Gulf nation of Qatar is ramping up its investment in the arts with plans to build three more museums in Doha, including the new Lusail museum which intends to house “the world’s most extensive collection of Orientalist paintings, drawings, photography, sculptures, rare texts, and applied arts.”

The plans were announced on March 27 by Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the chairperson of the state body that oversees the Qatar Museums, during the online Doha Forum.

Designed by Herzog & de Meuron, Lusail will be dedicated to the influence of Middle Eastern and Islamic art on the wider world. The four-story building will span 559,700 square feet and will include exhibition space, an auditorium, library, and educational hubs.
The panel also touched on plans to renovate a disused flour mill on Doha’s waterfront promenade into the Art Mill, a creative campus that will feature more than 861,000 square feet of exhibition and performance space.

Primorsky Krai Development Corporation has revealed that it has signed an agreement with a South Korean group called Plgen Holdings for the development of a casino resort complex.

This sees the company become the first from the Republic of Korea to enter the Primorye gambling zone, which could eventually house up to 12 casino hotels; shopping, exhibition and entertainment centres; water park; yacht club; ski slope; beaches and recreational areas; restaurants; cafes; and other entertainment facilities.
It is said that the initial investment will amount to RUB 2.5bn ($23.94m), with the first phase of a “master plan” to include and casino and hotel with more than 100 rooms that will open by the close of 2025. It is estimated that gambling activities will add RUB 100m per annum to the Primorye budget.
“After the launch of the casino and the hotel as part of the first stage, we plan to continue investing,” stated Shin Il Suk, CEO of Plgen Holdings. “There is already a preliminary plan for the implementation of an integrated casino resort with a hotel and a theme park on the second site.”
