Backed by the kingdom’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), the New Murabba project, to be developed by the New Murabba Development Company (NMDC), is set to become the world’s largest modern downtown covering an area of 19km2 and offering more than 25 million m2 of floor area.

China Harbour Engineering Company Wins Saudi’s New Murabba ContractSaudi Arabia’s New Murabba Development Company has awarded a contract to China Harbour Engineering Co. Ltd for the first phase of excavation required for the future construction of the basement structures underneath the Mukaab and surrounding podiums. The project’s scope also involves backfilling and enhancing the ground in the surrounding areas of development.
