Is that resort really worth the listing here at resortX?

I believe so. It will cost over $1bn, expand one of Dubai's most popular resorts and change the skyline of one of the most iconic tourist resorts in the world. It's going to be an amazing construction and, given the current economic climate, will be interesting to see how it performs once opened.

A wealth of dining options will allow guests of The Royal Atlantis Resort to dine around the world without leaving the resort. Handpicked celebrity chefs will helm five of the restaurants, with Heston Blumenthal, Jose Andres, Ariana Bundy, Gastón Acurio and Costa Spiliadis bringing inveintive British, Spanish, Persian, Peruvian and Mediterranean cuisine to the shores of the Palm Jumeirah respecitvely. Elsewhere in the resort, the award-winning Hakkasan will relocate from Atlantis The Palm, all-day dining restaurant, American diner, a Robatayaki restaurant and several cocktails bars, including one at the 22nd floor Sky Pool, will compliment the Michelin-worthy line-up.

At Atlantis The Palm, guests can marvel at over 65,000 marine animals at the Lost Chabers Aquarium - and the aquatic theme will also extend to The Royal Atlantis. At the lobby bar, a tank of 2000 jellyfish will serve as a centrepiece, with a further three aquarium's throughout the lobby containing a total of 600,000 litres of water.

A beautiful new vantage point, the sky-high, infinity Sky Pool will stretch 90 metres in length and soar to 96 metres above The Palm, on the property’s 22nd floor.
