This image was taken in June 2022, it looks abandoned and the photographer was also on the site late 2021 and took some images inside the property which made it look somewhat abandoned. Things may have changed in the past 6 months, does anyone have any idea about the resort aspects?

Some new images seem to have appeared on the official site again but nothing seems to be happening in terms of the resort aspect.

It's difficult to tell. There are two apartments listed for rental on Air BnB but only one has a single review from 2021 so could easily be scam listings using photos from offical sources with random interior shots (they both look similar inside and not to RC quality!). There is no official Ritz-Carlton bookings available and the Golf Course is not open.

It looks dead to me but there are still villas listed for sale and the RC website does list it as "opening soon" - there is also a big difference in progress between photos, some looks almost photoshopped they are so pristine whereas the google maps photos show a grubby, overgrown development.

If anyone has any further updates or photos that we can properly date it would be interesting to see.

The website is back and has been updated. Looks like good news and that new video looks like there is progress on the site still.

This apartment is listed on booking.com but is currently set as unavailable to book. It is absolutely one of the Ritz-Carlton Residences at Tamuda Bay but there are still no signs I can see for when this will open? According to the same listing on AirBnB I could book this from the end of August...

This site is listing the residential villa's for sale, no price listed and very little information included. No indication of when they will be delivered either...

A Luxurious villa for sale with private pool and panoramic river and mountain views, located at THE RITZ CARLTON Tamuda Bay tourist complex. Well secured complex 24 hours a day, with green spaces, and golf courses. The Villa is composed of 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, private swimming pool and several terraces with unobstructed mountain and river views.

The images were taken in late April according to the information on them.

So this is a weird one...
The Ritz-Carlton official site still says coming soon and has a single concept art on the main page - this hasn't change in at least 1 year.

I found this video on YouTube which is just a bunch of photos and concept art (I think a lot of them are from this site to be honest) and it lists this website - www/sienna-tamudabay.com. Sienna were the investment firm behind the Tamuda Bay project with Ritz-Carlton as the operator. It made me wonder if they were still working on it and, to my surprise, the website no longer exists and the URL is actually up for sale.

I can't find anything later than 2017 that mentions Sienna being involved but there is also no real reason to believe they have pulled out of the project as we know work was still ongoing since then.

Anyone have any ideas on what's going on there?

So weirdly one of the designers who worked on this resort has this listed as opened in 2019 which is clearly is not! Does anyone have any more recent news on construction?

They do have some new concept art which I hadn't seen before.

The hotel and remaining luxury villas were designed to be situated on the elevated land overlooking the golf course.

Google Earth has images from November 2019. Images of this resort are proving very hard to find if anyone is able to find any of the actual construction then please share. The only ones I can find date from 2018 and things have clearly progressed since then.
