Star Wars Resort closing at the end of September 2023.

Disney has decided to shut down the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, the hotel was modeled after the fictional Halcyon ship, and "the $1,200-per-person-per-night hyper-immersive sleepover experience" at the end of September, roughly 18 months after opening.



Company executives did not elaborate on what went wrong, framing the closure as merely “a business decision.”
